Hi!
I would like to upgrade my current NAS to 2-flash boot. I plan to perform following steps:
1. Save current configuration
2. Save current ssh-keys
3. Remove current boot flash-drive and attach 2 empty flash-drives. Install the most recent version of FreeNAS to both drives.
4. Auto-import pool after booting into fresh FreeNas system (actually I did not find this in current manual, but hope it works strate forward)
5. Import saved configuration.

I have one concern. Is it save to import configuration from one-drive booted system into two-drive booted system? Will it mess up my disks?

No need to go through this rigmarole. Just attach the 2nd drive, and select Attach to the current boot vdev, as described in the Guide, Section 7.3.1.

Keep in mind that your motherboard's boot handling will decide whether your machine will boot if one of the sticks fails - you may have to remove the bad stick, or switch the good one to the USB port the bad one is in. You have a mirror, but not necessarily automatic continuity on failure.
