Update iocage on 11.0 U4?

I have been putting off installing nextcloud for several months, awaiting the complete jail transition in 11.2. But since it keeps being pushed forward I am growing impatient. Also summer is the perfect time to dabble with these things.

I'm now on 11.0U4. It's my understanding that the iocage shipped in that version was far from complete, and creating problems for NC. Is it possible to update iocage in 11.0U4 so that I could attempt installing NC, without having to wait for 11.2?

To save having to wait or update the entire freenas intermediarily to 11.1U2 to use the script by danb35.

No.

However, you can update to 11.2-BETA1 (which has latest iocage) and, as needed, reboot back into your U4 system. Refer to the instructions in https://www.ixsystems.com/blog/library/freenas-11-2-beta1/.
