Hi all,

I installed TrueNas 3 days ago and since yesterday i keep dropping internet connection and then i can access the server. It reads the following "Connecting to TrueNAS ... Make sure the TrueNAS system is powered on and connected to the network.". Can someone please assist me.

Hardware:
Motherboard: Gigabyte Z170x Ultra Gaming
CPU: Intel Core i5 7600k
RAM: 16GB Corsair Vengeance Pro
HDD:
- 4TB Seagate
- 3TB WD Red
- 128GB Kingston SSD for boot drive.
- Using the NIC that is on the motherboard.

Although your motherboard has an Intel NIC, it may not be supported by FreeBSD 12 (the current release of FreeBSD being used by TruNAS core.) According to some online posts, the Intel I219-V NIC will be supported in FreeBSD 13.

I would try one of three things: 1) TruNAS Core 13 (which is in beta testing - so be wary of problems), or 2) TruNAS Scale (which is built on Linux), or 3) replace the NIC with a supported model.

Good luck.

So after some testing yesterday I found a faulty RAM module so Server just crashes due to that. Changed the RAM and will have a look today if everything is cool!

Thank you for your response !!
