So I have my Truenas scale finally running after some other problems (which was caused by one of the SSDs.) but now I'm trying to passthrough a Blueray/DVD player to a windows VM thats running in Truenas, but can't find anything related to this.
Anyone have any idea how to fix this? Trying to make this work so I can get the movies I have on DVD/Blueray on my truenas/Jellyfin.

It also says that it doesn't have an internet connection which I suppose if because I only have one NIC (on the mobo).

I have a BluRay player attached to a Windows VM. In my case, it's a Sata bluray for which I have a cheap USB adapter for it. Under Virtual machine "devices" in the UI, I added a USB device.

Controller type is qemu-xhci
Device is usb_3_5, where it is connected to

So, depends on your connection to the Truenas host but you can pass it through to the VM one way or another.

For your no internet issue, search around for how to create a network bridge interface, which your VM will need to use. Here's one recent thread about it:

This use case is ABSOLUTELY the only time I would ever recommend this.
If it's an internal drive connected via sata, pass through a pci-e adapter, something cheap like this:

If your Blue Ray player is an external drive connected via usb, you can natively pass it through
