Transmission downgrade

How can I install a older version of Transmission on my FreeNas server version 9.2.1.7.
I would like to downgrade transmission to version 2.42.
My private tracker does not allow the newer versions.

It looks like 2.77 is the lowest PBI available (http://download.freenas.org/plugins/9/x64/).

The only way I know of is to make your own jail and install it from source in the jail. Considering you are asking how to downgrade (and the actual downgrade would be less complex than a jail from scratch) I don't know if you have the experience to do this. There's a first for everything though. ;)
