Downgrade Transmission Version

The transmission plugin updated to version 3.00+, and several trackers I use have not allowed that version as a client.

Is there a way for me to downgrade the plugin to 2.94?

Previous transmission versions may be found in /var/cache/pkg within the jail, though be aware that downgrading to an earlier package is straightforward only if there are no dependencies.

Just roll back the snapshot you took prior to upgrade

I completely forgot the jails had their own datasets with snapshots. A roll back resolved it.

Would someone be able to help me downgrade my transmission version? i just updated to 4.0.4 and didn't realized it has download speed issues. wanted to downgrade to an older version till the fix is released
