Hi,

ok, I checked the bios settings again:

Onboard LAN is now disabled, I think I already disabled it before but now it's 100% disabled! This time I checked it two times!

Now there is only one network card, the error is still the same.

I've a screenshot of the message on the screen! I attached it...

If the network traffic is low everything is still fine.

Are your drives connected to the Intel SATA ports or the ASMedia ports?

I must admit that I do not recall seeing such error messages. In an earlier post, you mentioned problems with the network configuration. What was that problem?

You'll have better luck if you stop cross posting on the same issue.

Hi,

sorry for the cross posting.

The current status of the system is:

- the mainboard is going on error and isn't starting when the pci-e intel network card is pluged in
- the system is crashing when I try to upload something larger than 50mb
- the same happens, when I try to download something
- I wasn't able to find any logs, because when I tried to >grep or >find a file the system crashed
- in /var/log/messages is not a single information about the whole thing
- I deactivated everything (every jail plugin and everything else) and tried only to copy something but only with the same result of crashing the system --> everything I could see is the short panic message on the screen
- I tried to reset the bios settings, to deactivate the on board network card and only use the pci-e network card --> system is going to error and isn't booting

The only thing I can do with the system at the moment is to use it as heating device :)

My next test is to use the onboard network card again and try to start the system up and to check the bios settings again and again... I'm really out of any ideas...
