Hi dear FreeNas Friends,

I am as new as you can be to FreeNas and wonder if an application like Sonarr tells you there is an update available, could you run it and would it be OK to do so or is a jail something more static?

With Plexmediaserver for example, they screw every 5th patch the watch later function and I have to roll back manually on my Centos Server, wondering if I could do the same with SSH into the jail and install/downgrade the plexmedia version?

Sorry guys, two question in one post ;-)

Just did it in a VM and it works fine, just wondering how you update plexmediaserver.

If you search the forums, most people prefer to install plex in a jail so they can keep it updated (rather than waiting for the next version of the plugin to become available).
