Trying to set up FreeNAS 9.2.1 BETA on a recently built mini-ITX tower.
I've successfully gotten the .img file onto an 8 GB USB and the tower is correctly booting from the USB.
However I am unable to manually set the IP address from the Console Menu.
Per the documentation, "Initial Setup", example 2.5a, when I get to the step:
“IPv4 Address: 192.168.1.108/24”
I get "Saving interface configuration: Failed". It then returns to the Console Menu, gives me the 1-11 list, and states:
"You may try the following URLs to access the web user interface:
http://0.0.0.0”.
I do not know how to reach /var/log/msg.
mobo: ASRock E350M1 AMD E-350 APU, RAM: 8 GB, USB flash: 8 GB Sandisk, HDD: Seagate Barracuda 3 GB
Mini-ITX is connected via ethernet cable to my router.
