Reboot instead of shutdown

Hello,
I'm somewhat new to freenas thou i have played around with it as virtuell machine before.
So i decided to install it on my old pc and give it a try. Now i'm having problem shutting down the server from both at the machine "option 11" or from the web interface, the server just restarts.
The same pc work without a problem under Windows 8.1 and older versions of windows.
I'm running Freenas 9.1.1.
The server is running on Gigabyte x48-ds4 with BIOS version F3B.
Any suggestions?

Yes, don't use a beta bios. :)

Just find another thread where the solution was to reset the bios so i did that and it worked with the same bios version.
