Problems with sharing after installing a new NIC

Hey guys.

I have been pounding my head for a few hours, and I thought I ping here. FREENAS 11.1

I was getting "Re0 watchdog timeout" and the common answer was to get rid of my onboard NIC with a intel one.

So, I was able to install the new NIC, removed the old one, and then i disabled it in the bios.

After that I was able to log in via the webserver and then re-assign my static IP from the preview NIC to the new one.

so, it looks like everything is up and running. but all of my Windows share are reporting back as not responding.

so I deleted all the shares, and added them back in. but still there complaining the decide is not available.

I am wondering what did I miss. I am sure its something stupid.

sadly no.
I ended up re-formating the machine. never got any insight on where to look and the shotgun approach became my best option
