Hi,
I set my freenas box up ok and have transferred data to it fine.
I also set up Plex mediaserver plugin and got it up and running fine.
Then I decided that I wanted a static IP for the nas and went into network settings and set it up with 192.168.0.100 It was formerly 192.168.0.6.
Anyway, I shut the machine down for a few days and when I came to fire it up again under storage, the web gui says there is a error with the plex plugin. I can't see what it is so I think it must be something to do with the change of IP to a static IP so I decide to delete the plugin, jail and jail data set and re-install the plex plugin from scratch.
However, when I go to install the plugin, there are no plugins available in the plugins section. I keep refreshing but it seems it's not connecting to the freenas plugins web server so now I can't get any plugins.
I've checked my network settings and my default gateway (my router) is correct (192.168.0.1).

Can anyone help shed some light on what might be going on here?

thanks.

Did you also set a default gateway and DNS servers? Can you ping an Internet address by name?
