Prepare for weird questions

HI, I'm new to the forum though I've had a FreeNAS system set up for over half a year now. I was told I need to make an intro post too, so this is it...why do I need to do this? Anyway, I'm a techy with a theoretical degree in physics, a Phd in figuring out how to take things apart as I go along, and a masters in finding all the weird and unexpected ways hardware and software breaks without trying--not as in I find them to fix them, but I find them as they break on me. So, prepare for weird questions since I tend to have weird problems. And get ready for questionable advice if you ask me questions since I am as lost as the rest of you, or worse. Again, I tend to break tech just by looking at it.

You should have seen my old laptops. One angry glare and the lcd connector popped out of the board. Gave the other the 'disappointed face of displeasure' and the hard drive died soon after.
