Plex Install

Hi Guys.

Hopefully you can help. I have installed the latest Plex plugin and the install seemed to go fine. I can connect to the Plex Management page , create new account all ok.

However when i logon to Plex for the first time i dont see the Server Setup process. I just get a looking for servers in the left hand side. Any ideas whats gone wrong?

Are you connecting for the same subnet as Plex? Plex uses multicast to find the server even if both are on the same server. It's dumb, I know.

Edit: also you NEED to use vnet as I recall it otherwise will not properly pass multicast.

Make sure you are using http://<local ip>:32400/web and not http://app.plex.tv
