So I had an ambitious project. My objective was to up grade my Nas box from a regular PC, to an actual server. I migrated my setup over to my Levono 430T without issues.. When I first set up my original set up I created A dataset called "Media Files" In that I made a directory Called "Media Files". When I Copied all my necessary files to the "Media Files" all my files went to the root of my pool. (not to sure why)

Everything worked as I wanted to and I was happy with it, however in the back of my mind it was bugging me, so when I migrated my setup over to the 430T I was going to have to create a new Dataset "Media_Volume" and move everything over. When I did finally carried out this task, and made sure everything work for Plex perfectly, my plan was to delete the old files and Dataset.

I was able to delete all the old files from the dataset, however my Pool Storage shows that I have the original files sitting somewhere..
Im also having issues deleting the original dataset "Media Files"

I am hopping someone here can guid me in the right direction..

Look for snapshots first ... it's in the UI under Storage.

That's up to you to decide. You have not even shown us which dataset you have a snapshot or two of.

Well, if you are sure you definitely never want to roll back the "Media Library" dataset to the state of Jan 17th, you can delete that.

Then please post the output of zfs list -t all. I can't promise I can look at that today but there are others around.

The root dataset of your pool still has a snapshot of more than 500G:
Candace@Candace-2021-01-17_00-00 527G - 527G -

You might want to delete that, too.

And please use "code" tags like so:
Code:
root@SirNas[~]# zfs list -t all
NAME USED AVAIL REFER MOUNTPOINT
Candace 1.39T 377G 172K /mnt/Candace
Candace@Candace-2021-01-17_00-00 527G - 527G -

I am not familiar with Unix Based systems So not sure how to use "code Tags". However Deleting that snapshot did bring some space back.. Thank you very much @Patrick M. Hausen. Is there a way to edit the snapshots so I pick witch dataset to snapshot? Now to Find the solution to my Dataset that I cannot delete
