zfs list doesn't reflect available storage after files removed or moved

I'm wondering why the used/available storage reported doesn't reflect all the files I just deleted from a dataset. In the /media/a dataset I issued rm -r on all folders located here. On the /media/downloads all these files I used mv to send them over to the /media/movies dataset and /media/movies isn't showing the added 700G of files either. what gives?

You probably have snapshots enabled.

I do have them enabled - that's the reason then. Thanks
