Permission problem

Hi everyone.

I have a problem with my freenas.

I have configured the transmission app, and i download all in the freenas. Every time i download a movie, it makes a folder, and when i download the subtitle with my mac, when I try to copy it in the freenas folder, I can't.

Then I go to the freenas interface and put all the permissions in this folder, and check the box of "Set permission recursively", and then I can copy the file.

What can I do to skip this last step?

I think you should start by posting more details and search forums. There have been numerous permissions related threads and Samba upgrade introduced few issues that you need to read up on.
