I'm encountering a similar issue on a Rackable Systems 2U with a multi-disk array (mounted as twa0). It does not detect the 4 disks I want to use as mirrored storage, yet when I plug in a USB drive it picks that right up. The disk array is a 3wave Series 9000 controller, with binary driver. Find attached below the dmesg. Any ideas?

I'm not physically near the machine at the moment but the gpart show was similar to the one posted above, only with a greater amount of "-free-" storage attached to the end of da0. I don't know if this is the twa0 mount or if such a mount exists on my system.
