Newbie - Error Signing into FreeNAS

Hi all, I apologise if this is a dumb question but i am new to FreeNAS.

I have set everything up and can sign in using root and my password.
I have set up a User and password but whenever i sign in with that user i get an error.
"Please enter your password again" see screenshot.

Needless to say i have checked the password. Deleted and recreated the user (with different name too), but i cannot get a user to sign in.

I guess I'm doing something stupid but cannot see what.

Can someone point me in the right directions please?

Only root can login to the GUI, unfortunately

OK, that makes sense.
Sorry but how do i gain access the he drive i shared so that, as a user, i can store files on FreeNAS?
Again im sorry if its a silly question.

OK, Please ignore this. I have figured it out.
Now i know you cant sign in via he Web part (Root only) i went in via Folders on Windows PC and it worked straight away.
