As the title suggests, I am new to the FreeNAS forums and am thinking of building a FreeNAS server (build validation thread will be made later). Though i do have a background in IT, my experience isn't at a server-technical level yet. My hopes is that by using FreeNAS and messing around with it, I can gain some experience which I may be able to apply in the field at some point. Until that time, I will gladly leech off of your experience when I can.
