Hello,

This will be my second FreeNAS build/install. I have some experience, but I definitely consider myself a beginner at this.
In case anyone wonders, this is my hw:
Asus B350 micro-atx (might be changed into a mini-itx board)
Ryzen 1500x
Kingston 16gb ECC (single stick)
EVGA 750GQ
WD Red 4TB x3 in raid z1

This server is a file server running SAB, Sonarr (used Sickrage on my last build), Couchpotato, Plex and possibly Transmission.
My first build is currently running FreeNAS 9.10, so I figured I might as well do a fresh install.

The first time around I followed this guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p4gm6sCJXQc / https://www.jruehlig.com/wordpress/installation-configuration-of-freenas-plugins/

I'm not sure if the guide is outdated and also, I have some questions.

In this guide it was recommended to install all plugins in the same jail to make permissions and file access across jails simpler. The tutorial had a workaround to make FreeNAS install multiple plugins in the same jail, so I did this.
Is this still a good way of setting up a build for my needs? Or should I go for separate jails?

I do want the server to be as automated as possible. Files needs to be moved as soon as they are finished downloading and failed downloads needs to be marked so that SAB will receive a new file to download. I got this working on my old build, but somewhere down the road it simply just stopped working.

Also, I've read that the use of jails has changed since 9.10. Are there many things that will be different when I set up in FreeNAS 11?

Thanks for all advice!
