Network hostname falls back to 'freenas'

Hi guys
Some time ago between update from 11.0-U4 to 11.1 my NAS changed it's network hostname from SKA-SERVER to default 'freenas'

In webGUI it looks just fine

But in reality it shows up as 'freenas' and i can't ping SKA-SERVER but only 'freenas'

But there appears to be some client called SKA-SERVER showing up in Ubiquity unify but without IP adres

How can i fix this?

I believe it may be picking up the SMB name. Try changing it under Services > SMB.

I tried doing it manually and it still sets itself to freenas

Are you running a DNS server on your network? The "correct" way to handle this stuff, in my opinion, is run an internal DNS server, and then you can just manage everything through DNS. Then you're not fighting the inconsistent nightmare that is NetBIOS.
