Need to Create Backup Drives

Hi All,

I am New to NAS.

I have a VM in that i had created 4*500 GB Striped Drive Which is clubbed as 2 TB Drive.
Now i have to create another drive which will act as its Backup drive,which will be a shadow drive.
Size of Backup Drive will be same 2 TB.

Could any one guide me what will be the best option to make a backup drive.

Thought of to create RAID 5 but in one VM i am not allowed to add more than 6 disk and my total disk is 8.
4*500 GB one drive and 4*500 GB new drive.
