I have a N56L with 8GB of ram with 4x 1TB NAS drives. I decided to use TrueNAS with the latest version for the features and ease of use. Went and did a bit of research and decided to run it off a USB with. Installed it from a USB to the 16GB install USB. Its great but then the whole system would lock up. I couldn't use the web GUI, ping and even when i looked on the screen the whole box was locked.
I thought it was the USB so i installed a 32GB SSD to the system to run TrueNAS. Got everything setup and the same thing after a few hours. Complete lock up. Any ideas where i can go from here as im at a total loss.? Also, which and where is the log i need to check for lockups like this?
