hey guys..
so i have this server with 4 nic.s i named then console, wk1, wk2, and wk3. ips are 192.168.10.5, 101.6, 102.6 and 103.6
i have 3 worstations with ip 10.10, 10.20 and 10.30.
this is a simple CIF share, but my idea is to create the network drive using one interface per workstation. meaning
wk1 with ip 10.10 will connect to the server tru ip 101.6.
i configured each interface, but i cant ping them.. and they dont even light up (activity light, the detection green light is on)
running a netif restart on shell shows no carrier. (for some reason)
is a cheap switch so doubt LAG will be supported

As the router didnt allowed class b networks.. I decided to use windows ip aliases.
Basically each of the server ports is a different network on the class c.(1.5, 11.5, 12.5, 13.5)
I added a second set of ip to each computer
1.11 and 11.11, 1.12 and 12.12, 1.13 and 13.13)
And it worked. I made sure the network drives pointed to the ip i wanted it to go and im set.
