Mellanox CONNECTX-3 and UNIFI Dream Machine Pro - link down due to ?

Hi Folks,

I have receive the Mellanox card (MCX312A-XCBT) and the TRUENAS Scale was able to see the card and the transceiver.

Here are the steps/screenshots:

1) checking network interfaces:

2) checking the intended interface

3) Checking the transceiver

4) Having seen that the network card does not support auto-negotiation, I went to my Dream Machine switch to manually override to 10GBPS FDX (full duplex)

5) the cable that connects between the same generic FS transceiver is a multimode cable from FS too. https://www.fs.com/products/88537.html

6) Is there some over sight from my side, and I'm sure that I hear the click sound when I plug the cable to the modules.

Try undoing whatever you did to disable auto-negotiation.

Thank you for your feedback. I'll check what I can do to turn it back and reset to defaults on via firmware tools since I've gotten it off eBay too.

Did you find the solution? I have the exact same card as yours. Somehow, link is down even though I see the blinking light on the NIC and mine shows the speed of 10GB, full duplex but auto-negotion is off.
