I clicked on the menu item "Reset to factory defaults" in the legacy UI and after the reeboot my pool (simple raid1, 2x 3TB, encrypted) is gone.
As written in the doku for Freenas 9.3, i go to the menu point: Storage ‣ Volumes ‣ Import Volume and tried to import it. But its just producing the error
Code:
[EFAULT] The following devices failed to attach: gptid/a55658c0-fe6c-11e9-951d-7085c2298a45

Maybe the geli.key is broken or the lack of a not setted password is the problem, i don't know.

Is there any chance to get back my data?

Did you keep a backup of your keys?

It really depends. If you used encryption and did not keep copies of your keys you may be stuck.

Would you mind clarifying what version of FreeNAS you're running?

Hi, thank you for your reply.

Did you keep a backup of your keys?

I think so, i keep geli.key file that was produced after the encryption process.

I know that for shure and because of that tried to keep the key save.

Would you mind clarifying what version of FreeNAS you're running?

Now i have the 11.2 U7 and i think the first installation was not much older, because it was just two or three weeks ago.

Thanks
