Looking for upgrade advice

Currently running on 9.2.1.8 with a 4GB USB stick. I'm looking to swap it out with a larger faster USB stick. Am I correct in my understanding that the best method to achieve this goal would be to save my configuration and do a fresh install on the new stick and restore my previous configuration?

If there is an imaging solution that would make use of the extra capacity I would love to hear it. Image copy running system then upgrade to 9.3 would be nice.

Yes, do the fresh install on a new stick and restore the configuration. With 9.2.1.x and below, the OS is a fixed size (~2Gb) and you can't use extra space on the disk. With 9.3, that changes.

I'd install 9.3 on a new (larger flash drive) and restore the configuration to it. Should anything go wrong, you still have the old (working) 9.2.1.8 flash drive to fall back on.
