How can I get minidlna to use my transmission jail location as a destination folder.

Source: /mnt/Volume1/Media/Downloads
Destination : (I want it to be) /mnt/Volume1/jails/bit_1/usr/Downloads
......................(it wants to be) /mnt/Volume1/jails/dlna_1/*/*

Transmission is working perfectly. Am I trying to do something totally wrong? Can I install minidlna in the transmission jail? I am confused, and so close to finishing this configuration...

You can't. From the Guide, the destination is the directory within the jail which will be linked to the storage area.

But yes, you can install both applications within the same jail.

I guess I just don't know how to install them into the same jail, since the installer automatically creates a new jail for each plugin.

Apparently, that is a limitation of Plugins, but not Jails.

So, with Plugins, they can share the same Source, but not the same Destination as the destination is limited to that jail.

Wouldn't it be better to run in separate jails anyway? That way, a security breach in one does not affect the other since they are isolated. Plus, that's the whole purpose of jails in the first place, to isolate things.

For this reason, I would venture a guess that the developers intended exactly this.
