Kodi v17.6 can't view/mount/access any Freenas shares

I've setup SMB and NFS shares that are accessible through Windows/Linux clients, but my Fire TV running Kodi 17.6 can't mount nor access any of them. No idea what the problem is, any advice?

There's a checkbox under services->SMB labelled "Enable SMB1". Check it.

I ended up doing a clean install, replaced it with the new version, and managed to get it working with a fresh copy. Not sure what the issue was. Thanks.
