Is my setup enough to run plex and nextcloud side-by-side?

I am thinking about simplifying my network. I have 2 supermicro servers running with similar specs running. One with Plex and one with Nextcloud and i am wondering if i could have only one running hosting both?

Specs: Supermicro X8SIL-F, Xeon L3426, 32 GB ECC RDIMM, LSI HBA, Dell MD1000 with 15 x 2Tb SAS HDD's.

This CPU is antiquated, but has a few core/thread that could make it worthwhile.

Let me ask you this, with your current 2 server setups, how much of Plex power is involved?
If Plex is using 100% of system resources, then it would make integration of Nextcloud more of a challenge, but I don't think it would really be an issue.

If your single system is running Plex at 100% over the entire length of the media, this would suggest your system isn't capable (powerful enough) of rendering media files.

If none of the above is correct, then it should be possible to run Nextcloud allong side Plex on a single system.

The same can apply to Nextcloud against Plex, in search of power.

It shouldn't be too difficult testing this hypothesis on a single CPU system.
