Internet Explorer 8 FTP service FreeNAS 8.0.1 B3

I have set up FTP service and can download files from other computers across the internet. I have used firefox to navigate to the ftp site and the appropriate directory is listed after providing credentials. But, when I do the same thing in Internet Explorer 8, I use the same non-root credentials and I am listed to entire root directory, and can access any directory. I have the login as root and anonymously options set to disable that from occuring. I also have to the home directory of the ftp user set to /mnt/ftp ...
Any suggestions? I'll try updating to 8.0.1 B4 but, I wanted to see if anyone had suggestions first.... Thanks!

Check the "Always chroot" box in the FTP configuration to lock users in the DefaultRoot directory.

If you type something like ftp://yourserver/../ in Firefox, you can also go back a level there, it's just not displayed correctly.
