Install fails: Error 5, retries exhausted

Trying to install FreeNAS to a 32G USB drive.
I already have a working 32G USB drive using 11.2-u7 but that installation will nopt allow my old jails or plugins-. (Not an error in the network config as I have the router's internal LAN IP set as the default gateway and have tried several DNS servers, i.e. Google and OpenDNS.
So I tried to install 11.1-u7 and 11.2-u5 but both produce this error.

Not sure what you mean by that... you can't see them in the new GUI? (that's as expected... use the legacy UI to see them)

From the screenshot, your USB disk is no good. Get a new one and try again.
