Inadyn -- Can version be updated to the latest?

Hi - I'm currently on freenas 11.2 U6
I'm trying to use the DUC (Dynamic Update Client).
I noticed that in this distribution FreeNas uses inadyn version 2.2
I believe according to the inadyn github the most stable version is 2.5 which was release Sept 30 2018 (That was over a year ago).
I believe version 2.5 added support for cloudflare.

Is there anyway to be able to update to latest stable client for cloudflare support? 2.2 was released Aug 9, 2017.

**Correction: Cloudflare support to be added for newest 2.6 release.

2.5 is the version that will be in the upcoming 11.3.

It would be awesome if they could include the cloudfare compatibility that is currently in 2.6. Seems unlikely that is going to happen however.

As a workaround, I understand the existing client can be configured to update DNS-O-Matic, and that can update Cloudflare. See https://dnsomatic.com/ and https://www.ixsystems.com/community/threads/dns-o-matic-dynamic-dns-configuration.10326/.

Yea - but existing client which is 2.2 doesn't work with dns-o-matic within freenas. It possibly could if I could manually change the conf file, however this overwritten by the gui.
