I recently to move one of my storage boxes from Nexenta to FreeNAS. I left everything in place and just removed the Nexenta OS drives and added a SATADOM on which I loaded the latest version of FreeNAS. My volume appeared to import perfectly via the GUI auto detect option. There are no errors when I run "glabel status", "gpart show", zdb or zpool status. I also did a scrub of the data and it came up clean.
However, any time I try to access the data (via LS, browsing to a cifs mount, changing the permissions, etc) I get a kernel panic. Specifically I get:
panic: avi_find() succeeded insude avl_add()
CPUid = 1
KDB: enter: panic
thread pid 6161 tid 100877 ]
stopped at kdb_enter=0x3b: movq $0,0x74d242(%rip)
I'm assuming there is something I need to do to tweak this data to run under FreeNAS, but I am out of ideas and past post don't seem to be helping much. I really need to access this data, I appreciate any thoughts or advice you guys may have.
