Import Zpool (without password) not working

Hello,

I have set up a Freenas 11.2 with a stripe of two disks as raid1. During setup I created a zpool and encrypted it, but without a passphrase.

After a couple of days filling up the Nas, i'am facing an error and long story short.. i'am an newbie and reseting the freenas to the factory defaults.

This causes the complete loss of my zpool information.

Via ssh i can decrypt and zpool import my pool and recover all mounts to /mnt.

But restoring the pool in the Freenas UI does not work. After selecting the disks, uploading the key file and not inserting a passphrase, no pool name appears on the pool selection page (both in the new and the old UI).

@dropio, is this the legacy UI or new UI? This should be working in 11.3 in the new UI for sure.

Hi Kris,
i tried, as i said, in the new and the legacy UI. But only on Freenas 11.2 U7.
I upgraded with reinstall to 11.3 and now the pool is selectable and was imported.

So thank you very much.
