How to install 9.3 nightlies when you are on 9.2.x

I am currently using 9.2.7 and very eager to use 9.3 to see how the WebDAV support is working.

My use case is I have 2 chromebooks at home and with WebDAV, I will at last get a good browing tool from my Chromebook.

Do I just upgrade via a the GUI by pulling the 9.3 M4 nightlies?

I definitely recommend a clean install to a spare USB drive. You do not want to be stuck with with pre-Beta software, so back up your config and do not upgrade your pool.

To add to this, the upgrade path for 9.3 will be a fresh install. This is because the boot device needs to be formatted with ZFS moving forward.

In the interest of saving myself from trouble, I will not touch the current NAS. Will assemble a new machine and try on that.
