I just received an email telling me this:
Which I guess comes from the default S.M.A.R.T test. I run a scrub which gave me 0 errors:
I am not sure if 8 Sectors (ada1 is 2 TB) are something to worry about especially if I have a mirror but the Alert signal is always popping up in the web view so I was hoping for some advice on what I should do.
Do I really have to get a new hd as fast as possible or can I just wait until it completely died (or at least more Sectors are unreadable)?
Code:
Device: /dev/ada1, 8 Currently unreadable (pending) sectors Device: /dev/ada1, 8 Offline uncorrectable sectors
