How many are using HP flash drives as their boot usb drive for freenas

Hi all,

The only type of flash drive I can attain locally is a HP 8GB flash drive.

The only thing I can find on freenas and HP is this ...

Does anyone know if HP Flash Drives are compatible with freenas?

For what it's worth, I use a 4GB HP flash drive. It's been in service for two years without any problems.

That ticket is mainly for very large flash drives that are not supported. Most smaller drives work fine. You didn't say you were having any issues so I guess you are just shopping around to see what works or doesn't?

I have a freenas 8.2 build running off of an 8GB HP USB Drive currently.

That's correct.
