My name is Charlie Salemi and I have knowledge of UNIX internals having been a developer at Bell Labs and UNIX Systems Laboratories. Did extensive kernel and application development in the 70s, 80s, and 90s. Use Linux at work and want to use FreeNAS at home for my personal use. Running the latest version of NASLite for some NAS storage but I want to have more control over the system so I opted to try FreeNAS for another application that requires a NAS.
