Hello!
My name is Stefan, and I live near Regensburg in Germany.
I am a software developer, and my hobbies include all kinds of electronics and computers.
I have built all my PC systems myself, and even some for friends.
Some time ago (back in the IDE era), I had built a NAS with a 6 channel IDE RAID5 controller.
But someday without any reason, my array was kicked out although all disks and the controller were ok.
All data was lost (luckily it was not the only copy), so I trashed the whole thing and used external disks for backup.
But now I want to have a NAS again, so I signed up here...
