Hi,
So my current setup is:
  • ASUS M4A88T-M LE
  • Athlon II x4e
  • 8 GB ECC RAM (Max)
My zpool is 24 TB raw storage (12.4TB stripped and mirrored)
I'm thinking of updating to the following components, to support more ram, and hopefully reduce power.

  • SUPERMICRO MBD-X9SCL-O
  • Intel Pentium G2020 Ivy Bridge 2.9GHz LGA 1155 55W
  • 32GB ECC RAM
Am I going the right route with this upgrade?

Thanks

Is this a guide? Do you think this belongs in the How-To guides section?

It not a guide, I was wondering if these components would work well together? Especially since the CPU is an Ivy Bridge and new claimed that it was Sandy Bridge only.
