I created a login here today.

I'm using FreeNAS as well after reading a lot of good stories about it.

Now i was able to create shares an set up a raid-z2 environment for our home network, i do want to finetune and adjust the thing a bit more.
My profession is cloud engineer, but im mostly educated on Vsphere (certified) and Windows. My FreeBSD knowledge is basic.

Specs of my NAS:
Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5640 @ 2.67GHz (8 cores)
16GB ECC RAM
2x 32GB USB stick boot mirror
1x 120GB SSD storage
4x 2TB WD NAS disks in RAID-Z2
