okay, so I found out I had two raid cards (using them in non raid configuration of course) and I tried to set the raid card up in JBOD mode, but freenas did not want to see any of the drives, so I ported the jbod disks in the raid card to simple volumes per each disk, EUREKA, it saw the drives, and I followed through by setting them up in freenas a a z1 zfs pool, raid card is an Adaptec RAID 51645 IF I remember the exact model correctly, and its playing nice-ish, but I have a pool of 7 3tb seagate drives, and every time I try and push my data back onto the freenas server, I keep getting errors (for a storage pool of OVER 16TiB of space) that I do not have enough disk space to put all of my files back onto the storage server, when I'm using waaaaay less than a single drive's capacity, so its not like (as far as I can tell) I dont have a pool setup as an actual pool, and freenas states that I'm using way less than even a single terabyte of data space as of yet, but its throwing so many errors and complaints and I want to rip my hair out and cry right now...
