Hello,
I'm currently having issues with my freenas server, the network connection is dropping out for just a few seconds occasionally to my iMac (late 2012, MacOS High Sierra) and then shuts down files transfers or stops the process of ripping blurays, dvds to it. I already set a static IP dress which didn't help either. When copying smaller files it works perfectly fine, but when copying larger files which obviously takes longer, it fails most of the time when left for a few hours.
My Freenas server is connected to my router, then that router is connected to a TimeMachine via ethernet and the time machine via ethernet to my iMac.
I'm sharing my Freenas to my mac with an AFP share.
My Hardware is:
Supermicro X8SIL (Intel gigabit nic)
Intel Xenon x3470
16 Gb DDr3 ECC RAM
8x3 TB (WD Reds and WD Enterprise) in RAIDZ1
Harddrives are connected to the server via a Dell Perc H310 in It Mode.
Power Supply is a corsair vengeance 400.
Any Help appreciated.
