Greetings, Community
I have searched the community and also read the upgrade section of the User Guide. My FreeNAS environment is at version 11.1-U7.
Under System > Updates, I have checked "Automatically check for updates".
Under Network > Global Configuration, I have configured the proxy setting.
In the past, this FreeNAS environment would notify me of new updates. But now, even if I click "Check Now", it shows "No updates available"
I doubt that it could be relevant, but I do see these messages in /var/log/messages:
Code:
Nov 25 16:54:25 usenasdev01 snmpd[3726]: SWInst: error opening pkgng db
Nov 25 17:09:25 usenasdev01 snmpd[3726]: SWInst: error initializing pkgng db

Can someone tell me how to investigate why updates are not available through the GUI?
Thanks,
Janet

If you want to update to 11.2, you need to change the "train". 11.1-u7 is the latest for the 11.1 train.

Thank you, Philip. I feel a bit embarrassed that I did not notice the "Train" pull-down myself.
