FreeNAS 0.7.2 Boot failure

I had a thread about this , but it has been locked, as I mentioned NAS4Free..so trying again with a different title.


I have a FreeNAS Sambda 0.7.2 box running for a year or more..and last week it failed to boot.
Two HDD
Embedded system
ada0 has data/boot/swap
ada1 was data partition

If I boot with both drives I get what you can see in the first image.
If I remove the data drive I get what is shown in the second image, it freezes at "Mounting Local File System"

I can boot from the old original FreeNAS 0.7.2 SambdaLiveCD that was used for installation.
I can ssh in to the box or use the local console
But not sure what I need to do next to determine the issue.
