First FreeNAS server, which disks

Hi,

This will be my first FreeNAS server and I have question on which disks I should use. I am planning to use RaidZ2.

Option 1: 6 1TB disks
Use what I currently have which is 4 1TB Western Digital Greens and also 2 Seagate 1TB drives.

Option 2: Buy 4 2TB Western Digital RE drives

I think most motherboard only comes with 4 SATA ports and I need to buy a SATA controller? What would be a good SATA controller brand?
