As Far As I Can Remember, the failover option of LAGG does not require anything from the switch side, unlike LACP which requires switch support?
Also in FreeBSD LAGG failover, what determines if a failover should occur? Would errors rather than a disconnect trigger it?
If it's not obvious, I haven't done any BSD networking in quite some time...;)
