Hello everyone,
I am experiencing extremely horrible performance when trying to execute .exes or run movies from my CIFS shares. I am running FreeNAS 8.3.0, my CIFS shares consist of 2 1 TB drives configured in RAID 0 through a physical RAID controller (perc5i). My upload and download rates from the CIFS share is about 70MB per second, but when I try to execute a .exe it takes about 10secs for the .exe to execute. I've got a 4 gig ether-channel to the my FreeNAS box and have ran the auto-tune feature, but it has not helped. If anyone has any tips please share.
Thanks in advance.
